Hot-dip 55% Aluminium-Zinc alloy coated steel coil (GL) is also known as cool steel. It has a brighter appearance than galvanized steel.

Hot-dip 55% Aluminium-Zinc alloy coated steel coil (GL) is also known as cool steel. It has a brighter appearance than galvanized steel.
The coating method of aluminum-zinc coated steel coil is basically the same as that of galvanized steel coil, the only difference is the coating material.If galvanized steel uses 100% zinc, aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel uses aluminum-zinc in the ratio of 55:45% or 5% Al-Zn.
Aluminum zinc alloy has better corrosion resistance and heat dissipation than galvanized steel. That is why it is called cool steel.
